Moscow Builds Tallest Ferris Wheel

Moscow Tallest Ferris Wheel – Officials in Moscow said they are considering the creation of a 722-foot Ferris wheel, which would be the world’s largest, as part of a bid to bolster tourism.

The officials said the planned Moscow View Ferris wheel would be designed by Gensler, a global architecture, design, planning and consulting firm based in New York, and would surpass the Singapore Flyer, currently the world’s tallest at 541 feet, RIA Novosti reported Wednesday.

The $300 million wheel would be part of a $4.5 billion program to bolster tourism in the Russian capital, which currently ranks 19th on the Euromonitor International list of the world’s largest tourist centers.
