NYPD Biker Sexy. Apparently, it’s a crime wearing a short skirt, according to the police officer. She couldn’t believe any of it and thought it was a prank at first.
Jasmijn Rijcken, the women who was pulled over, initially thought the NYPD cop was joking when he pulled her over. Maybe he saw her riding down the street and thought she was good looking. Apparently that wasn’t the case. Rijcken told the press, “He said it’s very disturbing, and it’s distracting the cars and it’s dangerous. I thought he was joking around but he got angry and asked me for ID.”
She continued by stating, “I didn’t think for one second that my outfit could be harmful or disturbing. I was on my way back to the hotel when it happened and I changed into pants. I didn’t want to get into trouble again.”
Thankfully she didn’t receive a ticket for the incident on May 3rd. Rijcken was there to attend the New Amsterdam Bike Show. She though the downtime she was given in New York was a perfect time to take a stroll to experience biking in New York City first hand.
Further information on the story hasn’t come to the table yet considering the cops name wasn’t mentioned and Rijcken didn’t get his name. NYPD Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne said in a statement, “Whether this story bears even a modest semblance of what actually occurred is impossible to establish without being provided the purported officer’s name and getting his side of the story.”
