Zombie Attack In Miami: 80% Of His Face Was Missing

One man apparently high on drugs was eating another person’s face in a zombie attack fashion before he was shot to death by Miami police this past weekend. About 80% of his face was missing as the victim was laying on a roadway.

Both the attacker and victim appeared to be under the influence of a new LSD type drug called, “bath salts,” considering both men were completely naked and the incident was very violent. Investigator’s noted similar instances of people under the influence of ‘bath salts’ becoming very violent, typically using their jaws as weapons, and they tend to tear their clothing completely off.

Larry Vega was the first to notice the gruesome zombie-like attack, when he saw a naked 31-year-old Rudy Eugene, chewing and ripping flesh off of the also naked victim on the MacArthur Causeway, Saturday.

“The guy was like tearing him to pieces with his mouth, so I told him, ‘Get off!'” Vega told WSVN. “You know it’s like the guy just kept eating the other guy away, like ripping his skin.”

“It was just a blob of blood,” WSVN quoted Vega as saying. “You couldn’t really see, it was just blood all over the place.”

Vega was able to then flag down a passing police officer who attempted to stop the zombie behavior.

“When the officer approached him, told him to stop, pointed a gun at him, he turned around and growled like a wild animal and kept eating at the man’s face,” Fraternal Order of Police President Armando Aguilar told CNN affiliate WPLG

The officer then reportedly shot Eugene once but it did not faze him and he continued to chew on his victim. The officer then ended up shooting him until he was dead to stop the attack.
The unidentified victim was listed in critical condition at Jacksom Memorial hospital with Augilar telling WPLG, that 70 to 80% of the victims face was missing, including his nose and eyeballs.
