Wealthy Clinton Wedding Plans

Chelsea Clinton wedding plans making news, and much of it is very interesting. The wedding between Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinksy is a big deal this summer. The guest list is growing to 400 wedding invitations as Chelsea Clinton marries for the first time.

“Donors are expecting to be invited,” a major Clinton fund-raiser said in a statement. Then there are the campaign, State Department, and Clinton Foundation staff, plus foreign dignitaries and both Clinton and Obama White House officials. These types of complexities is one reason why a strict no-strangers policy has been instituted.

“The wedding planner will contact each guest directly a week in advance and let them know where it is,” a source said in a statement. This means that the location is a secret. The Hamptons are probably out because of traffic concerns.

Clinton also ordered her dad, Bill Clinton, to slim down before the reception. By ordinary standards the size of the wedding list is good, but barely big enough to accommodate the people who snoozed in the Lincoln Bedroom during Bill Clinton’s presidency. So planning it has been a diplomatic problem. Chelsea Clinton will marry Marc Mezvinksy on July 31.
