Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is very proud of his career and the prestigious prep school Cranbrook, which is featured in one of Eminem’s rap songs that appeared in the 2002 biopic 8 mile.
During the film’s climactic rap battle scene, Eminem’s character Rabbit exposes his antagonist Papa Doc’s privileged roots to tear him a new one.
“But I know something about you. You went to Cranbrook, that’s a private school. What’s the matter dawg, you embarrassed? This guy’s a gangsta? His real name’s Clarence.”
Here’s the words to the Eminem song:
But I know something about you
You went to Cranbrook, that’s a private school
What’s the matter dawg, you embarrassed?
This guy’s a gangsta? His real name’s Clarence
And Clarence lives at home with both parents
And Clarence’s parents have a real good marriage
This guy don’t wanna battle, he’s shook
‘Cause ain’t no such things as half-way crooks’
He’s scared to death, he’s scared to look
at his f—–g yearbook, f— Cranbrook!
It was unclear whether Eminem supports Romney, but we sure know how he feels about the prep school.
