Glenn Beck And Newt GingrichGlenn Beck And Newt GingrichNewt Gingrich, a candidate once thought gone and out of fuel, has now seen a resurgence in to the top of the polls.

However, while many Conservatives have rushed to throw their support behind the candidate, one who’s been more hesitant is Glenn Beck.

Since November 2011, Newt Gingrich has been the frontrunner of the Republican primaries, gaining momentum in the early states of Iowa, Florida, and South Carolina. In one month, his campaign organization has enjoyed greater fundraising success than it had in all its previous months put together, and polling found the electorate had a more favorable opinion of him among conservatives, Tea Partiers, and moderates, who had long been Romney’s strongest constituency.

Even know after saying the radio segment would not be a “gotcha interview,” Glenn Beck aggressively questioned the former House speaker over issues including climate change and health care reform in a tough call-in interview with Gingrich on his radio show. In fact, he opened the interview by telling listeners and his guest point blank that he had “serious concerns” about Gingrich.

Newt Gingrich basically responded by saying he doesn’t want to impose any healthcare plan on Americans, and he “never believed in Al Gore’s fantasies” of global warming. In the end, Beck thanked him for his “willingness to come on and answer the tough questions” and wished him the best.
