Rick Santorum Surging News and Polls

Rick Santorum’s wealthy benefactor laughs about the current news, but moreover is the fact that the Presidential hopeful is doing well in three separate polls.

Rick Santorum is souring in the polls and Foster Friess, his prosperous benefactor, is laughing about the idea that he had something to do with buying the election.

The businessman and main donor to Santorum told ABC News that he is absolutely committed to helping Santorum through Super Tuesday and all the way through the Republican National Convention in August.

However, he did acknowledge that his financial backing is not truly needed due to Rick’s increased fundraising by the campaign, due to his surprise wins in Colorado, Missouri, and Minnesota last week.

“The wonderful news is they don’t really need me,” Friess said on the phone from where he lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. “They raised $3 million in three days (for the campaign.) There was an $800,000 day for the super PAC, so my resources — they are in the back corner waiting if they are needed, but it doesn’t look like they need.”

“There’s no sense in committing a lot of money if it’s not needed,” Friess stated. “If money is needed I want to be helpful. That’s what I’ll say, but I won’t say to what extent.”
