Ron Paul News – Republican Presidential nomination hopeful may have only finished third in a strong showing in the Iowa caucuses, but he is leading the pack by far in the online world.
Google has released traffic and search data for the month of December and it shows that in the US, ‘Ron Paul’ was the #1 news query search in the month of December, even beating out the query for ‘Christmas’.
Even in Iowa the only queries that beat out Ron Paul in Google searches were ‘Iowa’ and ‘news’. However it is noted that popularity in news searches doesn’t distinguish between weather they are ‘positive’ or ‘negative’ related searches.
Interest of late maybe due to questions being raised of Ron Paul’s involvement in newsletter’s that bore his name in the 80′s and 90′s that included controversial racial statements. As of late Paul refuses to discuss the topic.
This is the third time that Paul has seeked the White House and second time as a Republican. The first time he ran as a member of the Libertarian Party in 1988.
Paul is a Doctor of medicine and served as a flight surgeon in the US Air Force afterwards he moved to Texas with his wife and opened up his own practice were he worked at with lower fees or sometimes for free never excepting Medicaid or Medicare payments.
