Marty Arps, recently known as the wide-eyed chipotle worker, is quickly becoming an internet sensation.
The restaurant manager at Denver Chipotle (Chee-POHT-lay) restaurant posed alongside his staff and Mitt Romney when the Republican presidential candidate stopped at his place of employment for lunch.
In photos of the group, Arps struck an unusual pose with his eyes wide-open and his hand pointing at Romney. However, he was not trying to stand out in the picture.
“It’s a facial expression I do when I’m excited,” Arps told The Daily.
The Inquisitr reports Romney took a break from debate preparations and ordered a pork burrito bowl with guacamole. Joined by his debate partner, Sen Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Romney spent about five minutes greeting customers in the Chipotle restaurant, even stopping to take a picture outside with a young girl.
In spite of with the overwhelming amount of joy the wide-eyed chipotle worker felt to meet Romney, he is still unsure about who he will be voting for come election day. According to Arp, he’s “not too hip to elections and stuff.”
Nevertheless, the president candidate should not take offense to the pose as the young man did the same pose when he was photographed Trinidadian-born American rapper Nicki Minaj.
