Solar storms 2012, next major sun blast. In 2012, the solar system will get a blast of storms with extreme radiation from the sun. The 2012 event could knock out power grids from solar radiation.
Storms from the sun are expected in the year 2012. In fact, a solar storm in 2012 is already in the making. NASA has reported that the power source of our universe is going to unleash a tantrum like never before.
The suns radiation will hit the Earth and it’s vicinity with such intensity that all the space stations have the possibility of being completely wiped out in the aftermath. This would leave the power supply to the entire world suspended. Leaving us unable to light up our interiors or operate our refrigerators.
The last geomagnetic storm was recorded back in 1859 and 1921. It was caused by a solar flare and left telegraph wires wiped out completely. This storm is expected to be more severe and leave humans without transportation, communication or power.
NASA is reporting that there is some likelihood that the earth may just manage to escape the consequences again in 2012. According to NASA the solar minimum has already arrived. Each solar storm is an electromagnetic bubble containing around a billion tonnes of material traveling at speeds up to 5 million miles an hour.
