Adrian Peterson may have fallen just a few yards short of breaking Eric Dickerson’s single-season rushing record last year, but the 2012 NFL Most Valuable Player made sure to thank his offensive linemen for their efforts the right way–with snowmobiles.
The Minnesota Vikings running back knows he’s only as good as his offensive line. So how did Peterson reward his linemen? Snowmobiles! Arctic Cats, to be specific.
Peterson rushed for 2,097 yards in 2012, falling only nine yards short of breaking Eric Dickerson‘s record, which he set in 1984.
Peterson had a lot of help leading him to become just the seventh running back in NFL history to run for 2,000 or more yards in a season, however, and some pretty awesome toys are the rewards for all of the hard work they put in.
Peterson may be off the pace to rush for that many yards again this season, but the snowmobiles can serve as inspiration to make history once again. The O-line could be receiving jet skis in 2014 — although, those might not get as much use in Minnesota.
