Chris Jericho Returns – After leaving the WWE in 2010 and taking a shot at winning “Dancing With The Stars”, Chris Jericho made his return to the squared circle on Monday night on WWE’s Raw show.
In the past Jericho has stated that at 41-years-old he would not return to wrestling unless the situation was just right.
So now apparently he believes it is right. For weeks leading up to his comeback the WWE had been running promo ads during shows that seemed to be the kind once only reserved for the Undertakers multiple returns, a little creepy and never mentioning who they where for. In fact some thought the promo’s where actually for the Deadman’s next return.
However after speculation Jericho made his return in what was even more of an odd event, that lasted about 10 minutes. He came to the ring after his music hit to cheers of the crowd, then continued to egg on the crowd to cheer him more when it started to die down. A couple time he held a mic in his hand and acted as if he was about to address the crowd on his return, only to drop it and run around in and outside the ring to egg on even more cheers before finally just leaving without saying a single word.
Speculation is the WWE has plans to create a showdown between Jericho and current champion CM Punk at Wrestlemania.
Chris Jericho’s nickname in the ring is Y2J and he has held 30 championships between the WWE, WCW, and ECW. In 1999 Jericho also formed the band Fozzy in which he is the lead vocalist.
