Tiger Woods has a tipping problem when it comes to waiters and valet drivers. Rick Reilly was on the Conan O’Brien show to promote his new book, “Tiger, Meet My Sister…And Other Things I Probably Shouldn’t Have Said.” We found out that Woods is actually a worse tipper than Michael Jordan.

“You need a court order to get Tiger’s wallet open,” Reilly said about Woods. “It’s unbelievable.” Reilly, of course, retired from the world of sports journalism, but before he starts sipping macchiatos in Rome, he wanted to share his stories. Tiger Woods may not be tipping, but he’s made over $1 billion in his profession, but now the years of bad tipping just might be bad karma.

The 56-year-old also went on to talk about how Phil Mickelson is a great Samaritan. He gives homeless people umbrellas in rainy weather and large tips to children who run lemonade stands. With the tipping aside, one must really wonder how devastating it was for Woods to have to cough up $100 million to his ex-wife after their divorce.

“I know a valet here in town that stands between Tiger and his car just to get his $2. He’s really terrible. I’ve seen Phil Mickelson buy a 50-cent cup of a lemonade from a little girl and give her $100. When he leaves the Masters each year, he gives the guys $2,500. Tiger gives them nothing,” Reilly said about Woods.

Like tipping, Tiger Woods isn’t exactly been great at his game. If he wants to compete against the pros like Phil Mickelson, he will need to step up his game. He has not been a competitive player since the scandal that ruined his marriage.
