Taylor Swift is a country singer that has crossed over to mainstream pop. Taylor Swift received five American Music Awards and earned Best Female Video of the year from the annual VH1 Music Video Awards. The Music Video Awards was when rapper Kanye West interrupted her acceptance speech announce that Beyonce had the better video.
However, something remarkable happened when Beyonce approached the stage to accept her Video Of The Year award. She allowed Taylor Swift to return and finish her acceptance speech that was interrupted by Kanye. Major props to Beyonce as that was a class act.
