Apple TV 2010 new iPad tablet computing. Apple TV brings new ambitious plans for the iPad tablet as Steve Jobs promised. Apple is bringing Web-to-TV like nobody else, and the technology company is paving the way.

TV and the Apple iPad tablet is about to revolutionize living room entertainment. It is a device is cheaper than the original one sold in 2006. However, recent reviews have critics speaking loudly, and many are disappointed.

Steve Jobs has a vision and although some critics say it’s premature, the new Apple TV could pave the way for bigger things to come. Complaints are surfacing about the company and its own high standards. Kaufman Brothers analyst Shaw Wu, for instance, called the Apple TV product “underwhelming” and said some innovative applications, such as those on the iPad, would have helped. “It seems it’s strictly more of a rental machine.”

However, most critics expect that Apple has more groundbreaking plans for a future version of Apple TV. Steve Jobs is out to marry Web and television, and he’s got something up his sleeve. “Longer term, I do think they have more ambitions in the living room,” Ashok Kumar, an analyst with Rodman & Renshaw LLC, said in a statement.

“They didn’t announce it today, but we’re talking literally about an Apple TV, not a gateway product, which integrates a TV and a Mac. That’s a 2011 event. I’m not sure which other features it could have,” Kumar said. And many people agree with Kumar because Apple doesn’t release anything, unless it can be branded with something else. Overall, the product is getting mixed reviews, but it’s probably for something to be announced next year.
