ATI Radeon Now Comes With High Definition

AMD is shipping the new HD-enabled ATI Radeon graphics card for $150. The ATI Radeon HD 4830 includes a 256-bit GDDR3 memory interface. The video card also supports CrossFireX technology which allows up to four graphics cards to run in one PC.

Advanced Micro Devices is shipping new graphics cards with high definition. The new ATI Radeon HD 4830 vidoe card includes the digital technology for $150. The graphics card promises to deliver class-leading gaming performance with HD multimedia.

Advanced Micro Devices Inc has announced a new budget ATI Radeon graphics card. The ATI Radeon HD 4830 delivers high gaming performance and features high definition. The graphics card is priced under $150.

"The ATI Radeon HD 4830 graphics card is another example of how AMD's scalable design strategy is paying off. With a single chip, we have been able to quickly and efficiently bring to market graphics card designs ranging from below $150 through $549 SEP, with leading performance in every segment. The ATI Radeon HD 4830 continues that great trend, providing tremendous value to gamers for less than $150," Rick Bergman, senior VP and general manager of Graphics Products Group/AMD, said in a statement.


The ATI Radeon HD 4830 graphics card has support for the latest DirectX 10.1 games and features a 256-bit GDDR3 memory interface. The video card comes with a Unified Video Decoder with two dual-link DVI ports.

AMD labels the new ATI Radeon graphics card as an affordable solution. There many other features for the new video card which includes support for the ATI CrossFireX technolology. CrossFireX allows up to four graphics cards to run on one PC.

With high definition support, the ATI Radeon graphics card can support picture-in-picture technologies. It also has support for 7.1 HD surround sound.
