AT&T Consumer Reports for worst cell phone provider. Consumer Reports rates AT&T the worst cell phone carrier based on customer feedback. The Apple iPhone carrier was below Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon did very well in the report.

Consumer Reports annual customer satisfaction rating has been released, but it's not good for AT&T. The cell phone wireless carrier received a bad report based on customer feedback. The survey was released on Monday.

AT&T, the nation's second largest wireless carrier for mobile phones, received the worse rating possible. The rating was based on nine categories that include overall value, voice service, data service, phone support, staff knowledge, and resolution of issues, among others. Consumer Reports magazine readers gave the provider a score of 60 out of 100.

The latest score was six points below its nearest-ranked competitor. The Apple iPhone wireless provider was six points below its rating from last year. AT&T said it is working on immediate solutions, "We take this seriously and we continually look for new ways to improve the customer experience," company spokesman Fletcher Cook said in a statement.
