Apple Inc has released iTunes version 8.1 which offers several bug fixes and new syncing capabilities between the iPod and iPhone 3G. When the new update is installed, users will notice several improvements in speed and response times. The new version is fast and makes browsing through the iTunes Store a breeze.

Apple releases iTunes 8.1 which now supports photo optimization when syncing between the iPod Shuffle and the iPhone. The application also includes a Genius sidebar for movies related content and TV shows.

Apple iTunes 8.1 is approximately 64 MB is size and supports photo optimization for syncing. The company also released its new iPod Shuffle which offers a new VoiceOver feature that can recite song titles, articles, and playlist names. The new device was released on Wednesday and offers 10 hours of battery life.

Among the several bug fixes, the new update lets friends request songs for iTunes DJ and allows CDs to be imported at the same higher sound quality as iTunes Plus. Apple also added a new Genius sidebar for content including movies and TV shows. There is also a new AutoFill feature for manually managed iPods.

The Apple iTunes 8.1 update is available for Mac OSX v10.4.10 or later, and Microsoft Corp's Windows XP or Vista.
