Verizon Wireless is selling the Motorola Rapture mobile phone. The wireless carrier has features the Motorola Rapture VU30 with Rhapsody service.
The Rapture VU30 is one of the more advanced mobile phones sold by the carrier. The handset comes in a clamshell design and has a touch-sensitive external display.
The VU30 can also get music via Verizon's Rhapsody service. The service allows users to download over the air where they can choose and buy different songs.
A digital 2.0 mega pixel camera also comes with the phone. It captures digital pictures and has a dedicated shutter button for the camera. The camera phone features advanced imaging, video recording and stereo Bluetooth.
The mobile phone also has turn-by-turn audible driving directions with VZ Navigator abilities. It also comes with expandable memory of up to 8 GB using a microSD card slot.
The Motorola Rapture VU30 is just shipping at $129.99 following a $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year customer agreement.
