Verizon Wireless Ships RIM BlackBerry Storm

RIM unleashes the new Storm smart phone which looks hot. The device features touch screen technology that highlights the letter you type on its screen. Navigation seems very easy and uses your fingertip to move the mouse cursor.

Research In Motion Limited is now shipping the BlackBerry Storm mobile phone. Verizon Wireless and Vodafone are the first RIM BlackBerry mobile carriers. The BlackBerry Storm phone has features select and type using new touch screen technology. The device screen is the keyboard.

Research In Motion Limited on Friday confirmed that the new BlackBerry Storm mobile phone is available. Verizon Wireless and Vodafone are the first BlackBerry mobile carriers. Verizon will be the carrier in the United States while Vodafone will serve Europe, India, Australia and New Zealand.

The new smart phone device features touch screen technology that highlights the letter you type on the screen. The navigation seems easy and it uses your fingertip to move the mouse cursor across the screen.

Other features allow users to take phone calls while sending and responding to e-mail or browsing through the Internet. The BlackBerry Storm has built-in GPS-based directions and maps.

BlackBerry Storm also has a 3.2 mega pixel camera. Users can snap print-quality pictures that are sharp. It also has auto focus and auto flash.

The multimedia features are also interesting. The phone comes with 1 GB memory with upgrade options to 16 GB. It uses microSD cards. It also lets users sync their desktops with Apple Inc's iTunes music files by using the BlackBerry Media Sync. It comes with Roxio Media Manager to help create a personalized juke box.
