Aaron Sorkin On Steve Jobs

Aaron Sorkin Jobs – Aaron Sorkin, Oscar award winning writer, is seriously considering the offer to write a biopic about Apple founder Steve Jobs.

According to The Guardian, Sorkin is currently reading Walter Isaacson’s biography of the late Apple co-founder but reading the book is the only research that Sorkin has done. Sony has asked Sorkin to write the film.

Sorkin has said he is in early thinking stages about the project. E! News reported that Sorkin is seriously considering taking on the job, but that the writer did add this being such a big movie, who ever takes on the screenwriting role will do a good job. Sorkin also added that Jobs was a great thinker, artist and great entrepreneur.

Sony paid a reported $1 million to option the Steve Jobs story last month. Sony has not provided any more information about the movie, such as who would be playing Steve Jobs or any directors the studio may have in mind to take on the bio epic.

Sorkin’s latest work, The Social Network, told the real life story of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and received extremely high praise from critics and fans alike. Sorkin has shown audiences and critics that he can handle high profiled real life stories. The Social Network received eight Academy Award nominations and won three, including Aaron Sorkin for best adapted screenplay.
