Bride arrested wedding day for driving drunk. It was supposed to be her big day, but the bride was arrested just hours before the wedding. The 31-year-old bride got arrested following her bachelorette party, just hours before her big wedding.
According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Christina Martin, the woman was heading home from her bachelorette party when she was arrested. A trooper noticed that her car was failing to maintain a lane. The DUI charge went down just hours before her wedding.
A 31-year-old bride was arrested, booked, and then held in jail. Once she posted bail, the woman was able to take a cab home in time to make it to her early afternoon wedding in Burien. Most states can take up to 24 hours to complete the booking process, so she was lucky to be released.
Her alcohol level was nearly twice the legal state limit. She will face charges in King County District Court. “The woman was driving over 90 mph Saturday morning and weaving in and out of traffic on Interstate 405 in Bellevue when she was stopped,” Washington State Patrol Trooper Christina Martin said in a statement.
