Dennis Rodman Back Taxes In California State. Dennis Rodman’s business manager disputes the back taxes. It’s a claim that puts the former pro-basketball player in center, but off-the-court for $42k.
On May 11 the state of California filed a $42,497 tax lien against the 49-year-old Rodman with the Orange County Recorder of Deeds. The former Detroit Piston’s business manager, Peggy King, says “it’s got to be incorrect” because he recently received a refund check from the state “for $42,000 or $43,000.” The lien has been filed, despite the disagreement.
The Detroit Pistons plan to retire Rodman’s No. 10 during a halftime ceremony on April 1. The eccentric rebounding specialist helped the Pistons win NBA titles in 1989 and 1990. He averaged 8.8 points and 11.5 rebounds in 549 games as a Piston. He was the league’s defensive player of the year in 1990 and 1991.
Apart from basketball, he is a part-time professional wrestler. He was a member of the nWo and fought alongside Hulk Hogan at two Bash at the Beach events. He had his own TV show, The Rodman World Tour, and had lead roles in the action films Simon Sez and Double Team alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme.
