Lil Wayne’s Video ‘John’

Lil Wayne’s Video ‘John’ - Lil Wayne’s official ‘John’ video is out. This was after a leaked unfinished video came to the internet featuring Rick Ross. The finished version was finished Friday 13th and put on Lil Wayne’s Vevo page.

MTW News managed to get the scoop on the video from its director, Colin Tilley. “When I first talked to Wayne about the video, we had just done the ‘Look at Me Now’ video, and he really liked the whole feel of that video, how there was just so much goin’ on and just the whole energy and colors and all that. That’s pretty much what they gave me when they gave me the song. They were like, ‘We just love that energy and we want that whole vibe from it.’ ”

In the video, which was filmed in Miami, “John” finds Weezy and Ross performing inside an abandoned warehouse and outside on a dock. Also within the movie you see Ross rapping for a good portion in a wheel chair. Tilley commented on that saying there was no reason for it, that’s just what Ross envisioned.

When asked about the leak Tilley said it’s just something he has to live with. He said the differences between the two are night and day. He also said that even though it was leaked every shot has something different, He said this video has a bunch of crazy stuff and different animals.
