A man in Illinois made a call to 911 because he wanted to fight a cop

Let’s just say that the man’s trust in our justice system has been shaken to its core and he probably won’t be begging 911 operators to dispatch cops to his home so that he can fight them.
The incident happened last Thursday morning at around 4am., when John R. Pacella said he, “wanted to see an officer because he wanted to fight with them,” according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.
When officers arrived at Pacella’s home he started to shove them trying to provoke an altercation and was arrested. Later it was reported that the 38-year-old Pacella was a registered sex offender.
He will now, face charges of aggravated battery, resisting a police officer, and battery with intent to provoke or insult. His bail was set at $100,000.
There was no word wether Pacella would also be charged with the mis-use of the 9-1-1 service for a non-emergency situation.
Recently some mis-use of 9-1-1 have included a man calling to ask a dispatcher for a date, one man calling to report that a sub shop made his sandwich wrong, there was even a man who called to report a shooting in another part of town while he was being pulled over for speeding in hopes of getting out of the ticket because the officers would be called way to investigate a more serious crime.
