Nuclear Boy Cartoon. The kids “Nuclear Boy” cartoon explains the latest crises in Japan on television and videos. The crises is difficult for most people to understand.

Even for those following developments closely, the unfolding nuclear crisis isn’t easy to understand. Moreover, the United States has recommended that all US citizens leave Japan. Radioactive levels were found high about 30 miles away from the nuclear site.

There has been no shortage of Japan nuclear crisis timelines, interactives and explainers, but how do you explain the situation to children? A new cartoon tries to do just that.

The “Nuclear Boy” animation is less than five minutes long. It personifies the nuclear plant in Fukushima as a sick child. This could either be a funny cartoon or a sad situation if you live in Japan.

Here’s a video of it found on YouTube:

The cartoon aired on Japanese national television.
