Sarah Palin is installing a 14-foot high fence for reporter to view. It seems unfortunate that the former governor has to hide in her own home because of a neighbor next door.

Palin, 46, told talk show host Glenn Beck that the fence is almost finished. The Wasilla home now has a view of a fence on one side, while a view of the Alaskian terrain on another. She spoke to reporters on Thursday and joked having to build a fence to protect her family’s privacy but declined to comment further, saying she was babysitting her nephews.

McGinniss, author of “The Selling of the President” and “Fatal Vision,” drew criticism from both the right and the left this week. This happened when Palin made the announcement on her Facebook page that had to build a fence. McGinniss is renting the property next-door for the summer.

The author wrote a magazine article critical of Palin. Moreover, he’s now writing a book about her life, which is why he’s facing public scrutiny. It seems like Palin would be fine with a book, if it contained factual information and written as part of a proper interview setting.
