A16-year-old teen has been charged with murder after the boyfriend fatally stabbed his 17-year-old girlfriend on the Skippack Trail Saturday night.
Tristan Brian Arthur Stahley was charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder and possession of an instrument of crime after he allegedly killed Julianne Leigh Siller of Royersford sometime between 9 and 10 p.m.
According to police, Siller and Stahley got into an argument at Stahley’s residence before driving to Palmer Park, where the argument continued.
During the argument, Stahley allegedly attacked Siller, stabbing her multiple times, including in the throat, and then dragged her body into a wooded area off of the trail.
Stahley then allegedly fled the scene and returned home at approximately 10 p.m., where he reportedly told his parents what had happened and got into an altercation with his father in front of the house before being taken into custody, according to police.
Investigators found the victim’s body at 10:38 p.m., and the investigation continued throughout the night.
An autopsy determined the cause of death was multiple stab and cutting wounds, and the death was ruled a homicide.
Stahley was arraigned on Sunday afternoon before Magisterial District Judge Edward Kropp Sr. and was remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility without bail.
The incident was investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police and the Montgomery County Detective Bureau, and the Skippack Township Fire Company assisted at the scene.
