ABC’s Good Morning America apologizes for a wardrobe malfunction of singer Nicki Minaj. The network broadcasted the “fleeting image” of Minaj’s nipple during her live performance Friday. The singer exposed part of her breast during her concert in New York’s Central Park.
“Although we had a five-second delay in place for the Nicki Minaj concert on ‘GMA,’ the live East Coast feed of the concert regrettably included certain fleeting images of the performer that were taken out of later feeds of the broadcast in other time zones,” a ABC News spokesperson told NewsCore.
“We are sorry that this occurred,” the spokesperson added.
Despite the wardrobe malfunction, Minaj tweeted she “felt the love” from fans during the show.
“U guys just gave me LIFE. I love u Team Minaj! Words could never do this love justice! Thank u @Gma!!!!! Honored,” she wrote on Twitter.
On the other hand, activists are raging about how ABC didn’t have a 5-second delay, and critics of Good Morning America find it totally “unacceptable.”By: Mary Smith
