The first Avatar film set records last year and now a sequel is coming. Part 2 of Avatar will go underwater to the most treacherous spot in the ocean. James Cameron promises the sequel to be "rich and diverse and crazy and imaginative."

Avatar is the most expensive movie ever totaling $310 million for production costs. However, it is also the most profitable film to gross $2 billion worldwide. Moreover, Cameron isn't cutting corners for the second project either.

Cameron is also taking the cameras underwater in a submarine. He wants to go to the Mariana Trench, which is almost seven miles beneath the surface of the Pacific Ocean. The director has also hired a team of Australian engineers to conceive and construct an underwater vessel.

In addition, the submarine will be built to handle the fierce conditions and will function a full 3D studio. Avatar 2 will explore the Pandora's oceans and there should be some incredible scenes in 3D. The cost of the upcoming film will be more than the original.
