Bret Michaels denies affair and romantic relationship with Tish Cyrus. Bret Michaels stated he never had an affair and denies the accusations. The Poison front-man and reality star has been friends with Billy Ray and Tish for many years.
Michaels made the announcement on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” earlier in the week. He said he never crossed the line into a romantic relationship with Tish. It was widely reported that the VH1 reality star was the primary reason for the Cyrus’ divorce after 17 years of marriage.
“The answer is no,” Michaels stated, when asked if he had an affair. “It started out with me and Miley simply working on a song together. Her mom, Tish, likes ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn,’ the first concert Miley ever saw was Poison, and so they wanted to remake it for the new record,” he said. “When I was in the studio, Miley came in and sang on my song, a song I wrote for my album ‘Custom Built,’ and she came over and sang on that and honestly, she did a beautiful job, and that was it,” he added. “Then they started with all the controversy.”
He also discussed his health struggles from earlier this year, describing the hemorrhage he suffered as insane. “The brain hemorrhage, I was sitting literally like this on the couch, and the sub-arachnoid hemorrhage, it literally explodes. It’s not like an aneurysm, where they can coil it around or clip it off, it just explodes.”
He described the pain as something he “never felt” before in his life. “It was the most painful thing you will ever experience,” Michaels stated. He is currently in a relationship with the mother of his two daughters, Kristi Lynn Gibson.
