Chris Brown cancels his New Year’s Eve concert in the Philippines because he reportedly lost his passport. Concert organizers said he noticed his passport missing hours before his performance, according to The Inquisitr. As a result, Brown had to cancel several events.

“Due to unfortunate circumstances I can’t bring in the new year with you.”

The concert organizers, Maligaya Development Corp., said they were informed by Brown’s local representatives Wednesday afternoon that he was still in Los Angeles. One person from the concert organizers list, who wishes to remain anonymous, said many people are upset with Chris Brown since he’s supposed to have everything in order as a professional.Maligaya Development did release the following statement.

“According to them, Chris Brown lost his passport the day before the scheduled event … Hence despite having entered into a contract with us, Chris Brown would not be able to comply with his obligation to perform.”

As singer Chris Brown cancels his New Year’s Eve concert in the Philippines, it’s obviously he is missing out. He was set to perform along with other musical acts at the 55,000-seat Philippine Arena, according to Hollywood Life. The stadium also featured a fireworks show.

Last year, he was reported to have suffered a seizure from Record Plant Studios in Hollywood, California as a 9-1-1 call was made. When paramedics arrived, the R&B singer allegedly refused to receive treatment and also refused to be transported to the local hospital. He has reportedly suffered from seizures in his childhood.

Chris Brown also cancelled his Halloween show in 2013 after he was arrested for misdemeanor assault. The singer allegedly checked himself into rehab the next day. He has acknowledged that anger management is not his forte.

As previously reported by NewsOXY, one of the singer’s ” target=”_blank”>concerts was once canceled over his criminal record in 2011. He’s come a long ways from the darkest days of his past. He received much media attention after pleading guilty to felony assault of singer and his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

While singer Chris Brown cancels his New Year’s Eve concert, this is only a small bump in the road. His performances are worth the ticket price, and Brown has learned a lot from his past, notes the Associated Press. And it seems as if his fans always forgive him, so they won’t be going anywhere soon.
