Conrad Murray, the doctor charged with the unlawful death of Michael Jackson, returns to medicine. However, Murray won’t be practicing anywhere in the United States for the time being.

Murray is apparently looking to put his troubled past behind him in a big way, by returning rather controversially to the medical business.

Murray to Practice Medicine

According to TMZ, the disgraced doctor will soon be putting his cardiology skills to use once again, though in this instance will be working to treat kids with heart problems. He’s apparently organized a placement at the Trinidad Ministry of Health and will be helping heart doctors going about their business.

However, Jackson’s family are furious he is back in medicine. A source said: “He should never be allowed near a patient again. He was shown to be a danger.”

Murray, 60, was sentenced to four years in jail in 2011 after being found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of the King of Pop.

He was released in October last year after serving just half his sentence for giving the singer a lethal dose of the anaesthetic drug propofol.

Murray’s doctor’s licence was revoked in three US states but his legal team are trying to get it reinstated. Until then he will have to work as a volunteer.
