Courtney Gains, known for his role in the Children of the Corn, has been served a restraining order by an ex-girlfriend who claims that he threatened her life.

Gains may have to remain at least 100 away from his former flame at all times.

Kelley Marie Pospisil, who dated the actor for two years, claims he’s been sending her a series of increasingly threatening text messages. “Don’t think I won’t go find your ass. Just keep it up b—-,” he allegedly wrote. She also claims that her former beau has been using Facebook to track her down through her friends.

To make matters worse, Gains is also rumored to have admitted to being abuse towards his previous girlfriends as well. This admission, coupled with his seemingly menacing behavior, has prompted Kelley Marie Pospisil to seek a restraining order against the actor.

“I am scared that [Gains] may be following me or stalking me … [his] behavior is terrifying and making me fearful of my life,” Pospisil explained.

TMZ reached out to Courtney Gains for comment, but he has yet to properly address the allegations. A court date has been set for August 21.

Gains, a native of Los Angeles, California, has been a go-to character actor for numerous directors since the early 80s. In addition to co-starring in the aforementioned motion pictures, Gains has also appeared in such notable endeavors as Back to the Future, Sweet Home Alabama, and Dennis Hopper’s cop drama Colors.

In addition to his prolific film work, Gains has also appeared in the television programs Southland, Charmed, and Monk. In 2011, he did voice work for the Rockstar video game L.A. Noire.
