Fred Armisen Gets Slammed By Ex-Wife About Marriage

29-year-old actress Elisabeth Moss is now ripping on her Saturday Night Live comedian ex-husband, Fred Armisen, after divorcing nearly a year ago. Friends of the couple are crying foul, but there seems to be a lot more involved with this past relationship. In addition, there seems to be some serious issues that were never addressed.

Moss, who plays Peggy Olson on AMC’s ‘Mad Men,’ became engaged to Armisen in January of 2009, then married in October of 2009. However, the marriage did not last long as the two filed for divorce in 2010 after separating in June of that year. The divorce was finalized in May of 2011.

Up until now, Moss has not said much about the relationship she had with Armisen, she tell’s Page Six Magazine, “It’s so hard to talk about.”

But she continued by saying, “One of the greatest things I heard someone say about [Fred] is, ‘He’s so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.’ To me, that sums it up.”

After that statement, Moss laughed a little and followed up by saying, “And I think that’s … that’s it. I’ve never told anyone that. And I don’t want to waste any more of my life talking about it.”

She was then asked if her and Armisen still keep in touch, Moss snapped back with, “Oh god, no.”

Moss concluded with commenting about being married again in the future but wants to enjoy here freedom for now. Moss said, “I obviously want a partner in life, and I want someone to grow old with, but there’s also a nice time when you’re young to enjoy being you. It’s fun to go out at night and not know what’s going to happen. I’m addicted to and obsessed with my freedom in that sense. I’m having fun!”
