Heidi Montag is shocked after learning about her father’s arrest in Colorado on charges of sexual child abuse and incest. Her father was detained at his place of work at Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club, according to The Inquisitr. Bill Montag has since been suspended from his job following the sexual abuse allegations.
A press release from the Aspen Police Department reads that Heidi Montag’s father has been charged with “three counts of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust, and one charge of aggravated incest.”
If convicted, Montag faces up to 12 years in prison and a fine ranging from $3,000 to $750,000,” says People.
The Daily Mail reports that the Montag allegedly abused a 13-year-old girl over 50 times from 1993-1998. Although the victim has not been identified publicly, the site claims that Montag’s victim was not one of his daughters, Heidi and Holly.
The court documents obtained by TMZ read that Montag allegedly “groomed” the victim “with back rubs in her bedroom in the basement of their home,” and escalated by attempting to insert a vibrator into her vagina. At age 16 he began performing oral sex.”
The documents also detail the final time Heidi Montag’s father abused the victim when she was 19 in 1998. Montag allegedly “crawled into bed with her, tried to pull down her underwear and said, ‘I want to have sex with you.'”
The victim responded, “Get the hell out of my room, no!” And he responded, “I thought that’s what you wanted. I thought you loved me the way I love you.”
Neither Heidi Montag nor her sister have spoken publicly about the accusations against their father, according to E Online.
However, sources claim that Heidi Montage and her sister believe the alleged victim is lying and attempting to ruin their family.
“They say she has stalked Heidi and Spencer at various public appearances to the point security had to remove her,” says a source, adding, “Heidi and [her husband] Spencer believes Bill Montag will be exonerated.”
