Hugh Hefner engaged to Crystal Harris on Christmas Day. Hugh Hefner is now engaged to Crystal Harris and plans to marry for the third time. Not too many women get a proposal from the long-time bachelor.

Hefner, 84, confirmed that he gave an engagement ring to his girlfriend, 24-year-old Playboy model Crystal Harris, on Christmas Day.

"Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring," Hefner said on Twitter. "When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears," he said. "This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory."

The magazine founder has only been married twice before. His first marriage was to Mildred Williams in 1949, and he wed Kimberley Conrad in 1989. Hefner revealed in April that he and Harris had "become exclusive."

The Playboy founder was previously serious with Holly Madison but she left the Mansion after she realized he would never marry her.
