Jennifer Lawrence: Hunger Games Role Calls For Brunette

When you think of Jennifer Lawrence, you probably think of “Hunger Games,” but not for those who saw her make a dramatic switch from her natural blonde hair to brunette just one day after the Oscars.

In fact, she had a big day at the Academy Awards because not only did Lawrence win Best Actress for her role in “Silver Linings Playbook,” the 22-year-old also topped best-dressed lists all over with her bridal Dior Haute Couture gown, and at the after party in a slinky metallic Calvin Klein dress.

Lawrence made headlines with her remarkably graceful fall up the stairs on the way to collect her award, a moment that will most likely be replayed over and over again.

While the 22-year-old definitely deserved a day off after all that, she stayed busy, stopping by a salon in Beverly Hills.

Apparently, the newly minted Academy Award winner was on her way to Hawaii to continue shooting the latest Hunger Games film, “Catching Fire,” in which she reprises her lead role as Katniss Everdeen.

In fact, Lawrence wasn’t the only celebrity who wasted no time on their post-Oscars makeover. Ben Affleck, whose film “Argo” won Best Picture, shaved it off his beard during an after party in Las Angeles.
