Jerry Seinfeld Shopping New Reality Series

05/11/2021 06:54 AM ET

The comedic actor, who is a classic-car collector, is apparently shopping around for a new reality series that he created called “Comics and Cars,” to television networks.

It will feature Seinfeld teaming with Alec Baldwin, Ricky Gervais, and ‘Seinfeld’ co-writing pal Larry David, in which they find cars they had when they were young to get another drive in them for laughs and story telling.

However, thus far no networks have jumped onboard just yet. This fresh reality show will be a documentary that is broadcasted in a series of programs.

One of Jerry’s tweets read, “Working on my New Thing. Shooting in Manhattan with the Great @alecbaldwin.”

A second read, “Always lovable Ricky Gervais and myself shooting today in City Island, NY.”

From June 2008 through June 2009, Jerry earned $85 million, which made him the highest-paid comedian during that 12-month period. Aside from earning an extra $100 million for syndication of the ‘Seinfeld’ series, over the years, Microsoft paid him $10 million just to appear with Bill Gates in a commercial.

Seinfeld, 58, has been regarded as one of the twelve greatest stand-up comedians ever by Comedy Central in its four-part special, “The 100 Greatest Standups Of All Time.”

He acquired an interest for comedy after he had a brief time period in college productions.
