Jordan Spieth’s girlfriend appeared at the 2015 Masters Tournament after the 21-year-old professional golfer took the lead over Phil Michelson and Justin Rose on Sunday. All speculation over his relationship status from his female fan base ended when a woman appeared, according to The Inquisitr. The golfer did not break up with his longtime partner, as one spectator put it.

“It’s obvious that Jordan Spieth is still with his girlfriend. The two kissed at the Masters after he won the tournament.”

Jordan Spieth Not Single

Scores of women took to social media to express their interest in Spieth, but were disappointed to learn the golfer is with Annie Verret, whom he embraced and kissed to celebrate his win at Augusta National Golf Club, according to TIME.

Jordan Spieth and his girlfriend savored the Masters moment after walking off the 18th green at Augusta National Golf Club. PGA Tour’s Helen Ross set the scene as Spieth proceeded to the green jacket ceremony in Butler Cabin.

“Class act. @JordanSpieth hugs his family, kisses his girlfriend and then walks back onto the 18th green to applaud the #Masters crowd.”

Longtime Girlfriend

There were numerous people to congratulate Spieth, including his three best high school friends and Verret, whom Spieth has dated since high school, per Golfweek’s Beth Ann Nichols. Spieth appeared to acknowledge everyone around before signing his scorecard.

As classy as Spieth’s form was on the course this week, his class away from it is a big reason his mental game is so strong. He has evidently surrounded himself with fine people, who have helped the humble Texan stay grounded amid his meteoric rise as golf’s next big superstar.

After Sunday’s Masters triumph, only Rory McIlroy sits ahead of Spieth in the world rankings. Both players have tremendous competitive fortitude to go with prodigious talent, and they should continue being compared as they battle in the years to come.

Masters Tournament

Jordan Spieth shot a two-under 70 in Sunday’s final round of the 2015 Masters to win by four strokes and capture his first major championship at the age of 21 in dominant fashion, notes the Daily Mail.

Jordan Spieth and his girlfriend attended the Masters together. The two are high school sweethearts who grew up and currently live in Dallas, Texas. Verret graduated from Texas Tech in December, while Spieth attended the University of Texas at Austin before turning pro at age 19 in 2012.
