Kim Kardashian Pipedream Doll Causes Controversy

Kim Kardashian has sent a letter to Pipedream Products over the doll.

The Kim Kardashian doll is creating controversy and now lawyers are asking Pipedream Products to cease-and-desist. However, Pipedream says it will continue to sell the doll because the allegations are "purely coincidental."

Shawn Chapman Holley, an attorney for Kardashian, sent Pipedream Products a cease-and-desist letter last week, demanding the adult novelty manufacturer stop producing the Kinky Kim Filthy Love Doll.

According to the box, the Kinky Kim product is part of the company's Super Star Series of love dolls. The actual wording describing it is "the busty bubble-butt bimbo who's had more dark meat in her than a bucket of fried chicken!"

Kardashian's legal team claims the product violates their client's right of publicity. Pipedream officials maintain that any similarity between Kardashian and the love doll is "purely coincidental."

It's not the first time legal action has been taken against the manufacturer: Recently, legal reps for Lady Gaga threatened Pipedream Products with a copyright infringement lawsuit for the Lady Gag Gag Love Doll, and Tiger Woods' attorneys demanded last March the company stop selling items like the Take-Home Tiger Love Doll, the Tuggin' Tiger and the Tiger's Wood Cover.
