Kylie Jenner’s animal cruelty allegations have gone a step further after a video was posted online showing her Italian Greyhound puppy, Bambi. Since then, the reality star is now under investigation because Bambi appeared to be underfed and malnourished, according to New York Daily News.
Jenner, 18, also drew attention by the Los Angeles County Animal Control after comments were made to her Instagram page about the malnourished dog. Kylie is under investigation after fans contacted authorities by email and phone calls about the Bambi.
The agency wouldn’t reveal exactly how many complaints it received, but a spokesman says the number is irrelevant, as it investigates all allegations of animal neglect or cruelty. The spokesman confirmed that the current investigation could result in Bambi being seized, or even criminal charges being filed against the reality star.
This isn’t the first time that reports about her being a negligent pet owner have circulated online. The reality star travels and works constantly, leading many fans to wonder if her three dogs are being properly cared for while she’s away.
Kylie Jenner’s animal cruelty comments have been questioned after she posted videos of her driving with a dog in her lap. She also boasted about other questionable habits on social media that frightened fans about the dog’s welfare and well being.
Right now, it looks as though Jenner is probably in the clear, as the Italian Greyhound Club of America has reviewed the footage and issued a statement saying that Bambi appears to be a healthy weight for her breed. But the video shows Kylie and her dog’s ribcage clearly defined as if she hasn’t fed her pet for a few days. The images of Bambi look extremely thin and ultra-skinny.
But some experts say the Italian Greyhounds do have a ribcage appearance, and that the video is nothing to be concerned about. If she were to be found guilty of neglect, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star’s beloved pet could be taken away the state.
California has the strictest laws in the United States when it comes to punishment for abuse, cruelty, or neglect of animals. In California, depending on the severity of animal abuse, the crime could be classified as a misdemeanor or possibly a felony. Los Angeles Animal Control must investigate every complaint of animal abuse.
Kylie may not be the most responsible young woman, but it is highly unlikely that the fashion model would starve her dog and then post photos on social media. It’s not like Jenner would post anything that could seem inappropriate in the first place.
Both of her fur babies appear to be happy as they attempt to give doggy kisses to their owner. Some people still question their well-being.
While Kylie Jenner’s animal cruelty investigation is ongoing, most fans don’t believe that she would neglect her pets. As seen on her reality show, she loves her dogs and has spent a lot of money caring for them.
