Lambert Shelton Super Bowl - In a few last minute additions to the Super Bowl’s entertainment lineup, Country singers Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton have been added to the pre-game schedule.

The country couple will sing ‘America the Beautiful’ prior to the big game on Sunday at Indianapolis’s Lucas Oil Stadium between the New York Giants and New England Patriot’s.

This will mark the first time the couple has performed on TV as a married couple. The game being broadcast on NBC will also be followed by the second season premiere of “The Voice” in which Shelton is a judge and coach.

NBC also announced the addition of ‘The Fray’ and Lenny Kravitz to their pre-game festivities schedule. Kelly Clarkson had already been slated to sing the National Anthem.

Madonna had also previously been announced as the half time act. She will be joined however, by Nicki Minaj, M.I.A., Lmfao, and Cee Lo Green, another ‘Voice’ coach and judge, during her performance.

The Material Girl, originally from Bay City, Michigan talked about how it is a dream come true to perform at the Super Bowl.

“This is a Midwesterner girls dream to be performing at the Super Bowl halftime show,” said Madonna, “In over 25 years of performing that I’ve done, I have never worked so hard or been so scrupulous or detail-orientated or freaked out as much as I have had maintaining my sanity and trying to make the most major show at this Super Bowl.”
