Larry The Cable Guy Nudist Resort - There’s something to laugh about when you combine Larry The Cable Guy and Nudist Resort. Known for his hillbilly humor and “Git-R-Done” catchphrase, not to mention giving voice to the character of the tow truck Mater in the Disney movie Cars, Larry the Cable Guy will visit the clothing-optional Caliente. It’s for an upcoming episode of the History Channel show “Only in America”.

According to the show’s website, it goes “totally off the beaten path to find the people, places and things that define this nation’s unique history.”
The comedian, whose real name is Dan Whitney, is expected to be at the resort on May 17 for filming, according to Caliente marketing director Deb Bowen. She said she didn’t know whether Whitney or his character, Larry, was a nudist, but “we’re presenting him with the opportunity.”

On January 26, 2010, the History Channel announced it was ordering the series starring Larry the Cable Guy, titled “Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy”, in which the comedian explores the country, immersing himself in different lifestyles, jobs and hobbies. The first episode of the series aired on February 8, 2011.

Larry the Cable Guy has released seven comedy albums, of which three have been certified gold by the RIAA for shipments of 500,000 copies. In addition, he has starred in three Blue Collar Comedy Tour-related movies, as well as in the films Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector, Delta Farce, and Witless Protection. He has also provided the voice of Mater in the Disney/Pixar films Cars and Cars 2. His catchphrase, Git-R-Done!, is the title of his book.
