Madonna got booed by her own concert after endorsing President Obama. It all happened last Saturday night in New Orleans Saturday night. Most people didn’t like the idea of mixing politics with her concert.

“Who’s registered to vote,” Madonna asked fans, and then followed with, “I don’t care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama.”

The singer was then booed after making the statement. So she responded by saying, “Seriously, I don’t care who you vote for. Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote.”

Last month while her MDNA tour was in Washington D.C., Madonna announced to concert goers, “Y’all better vote for f-king Obama, OK? For better or for worse, all right? We have a black Muslim in the White House. Now that’s some amazing s-t,” she said. “It means there is hope in this country. And Obama is fighting for gay rights, so support the man, goddamnit.”

It seems to be the thing to do for celebrities lately to proclaim which presidential candidate they support in the 2012 election, some of which have been criticized for their choice.

Earlier this month actress Stacey Dash was booed via Twitter after announcing her support of Mitt Romney. After which one follower responded by saying, “You’re an unemployed black woman endorsing Mitt Romney. You’re voting against yourself thrice, you poor beautiful idiot.”

Earlier in the year, perhaps a little behind on the news because of her pregnancy, Snooki of the “Jersey Shore” revealed which candidate she would vote for.

“I thought Trump was going to run,” Snooki told the Huffington Post. “But he’s not, right? I would endorse him and vote for him.”
