Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul found love, even though they didn’t find it being The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. The two were married in secret after meeting from the Bachelor In Paradise show last year, according to Daily Mail.
Lacy Foddoul competed on season 18 of The Bachelor and failed to win the heart of Juan Pablo Galavis. Later, Marcus Grodd was ultimately passed over by her fellow contestant Andi Dorfman on season 10 of The Bachelorette.
But who needs a rose? The two met on Bachelor offshoot Bachelor in Paradise last year, fell in love, got engaged on the show, and, according to multiple reports, were secretly married this week.
Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul tied the knot on the first day of filming the new season of Bachelor in Paradise, almost exactly one year after they got together in season one. Naturally, host with the most Chris Harrison officiated.
This lines up with what the couple has said in the past. Lacy Faddoul previously told People, “Our wedding is planned for this year in 2015 — hopefully in the summertime.” She’s also always said she wants the Bachelor Nation be involved.
Guess we’ll have to tune in on August 2 to watch how Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul swapped their vows.
Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul have been tight lipped on social media, though he did Instagram — then delete — a photo of her on Thursday. The photo read, “Happy 1 year anniversary honey buns! Crazy to think I had a ring in my pocket this time last year without her having a clue. Whatcha getting ready for?”
Marcus deleted the post because he wasn’t supposed to say anything about the wedding. But Faddoul did mention the two got into a fender-bender.
She wants to start a family immediately. So maybe we’ll get a Bachelor in Paradise baby in season three.
Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul are in it for the long haul. This news comes after former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky defended Kaitlyn Bristowe, saying 95 percent of suitors have sex on the show. Uh oh.
