Former Real Housewives of D.C. cast member Michaele Salahi along with ‘Journey’ member Neal Schon have won the $50 million lawsuit filed against them by ex husband Tareq. The White House party crashers started divorce proceedings in September of 2011, after it became known of an extramarital affair involving Schon.
Tareq learned of the affair after Michaele had gone missing for several days in which he filed a missing person’s report, after she had told him she was spending some time at her mothers but was never there. Michaele had turned up soon after admitting that she had run off with Schon.
Adding insult to injury Tareq claimed that Schon was harassing him about the affair with his wife by texting him lewd messages and pictures.
Tareq then filed a $50 million suit against Michaele and Schon for what was called alienation-of-affection. However the Warren County (Va.) Circuit Court Judge Dennis Hupop decided that the claim was “not legally sufficient” and tossed it out.
Another victory for Michaele is the fact the judge decided to move forward with her counterclaim against Tareq for ‘defamation.’
Michaele and Neil later admitted that they previously had a relationship and decided to rekindle it.
