Miranda Lambert is dating again following her split from husband Blake Shelton, who is now with Gwen Stefani, nearly four months ago. An insider claims that the singer has gone out on a few casual dates and is really enjoying life since the divorce, according to US Magazine.
Lambert, 32, had been trying hard to move on Shelton, 39, even though the country crooner is doing nothing to hide his romance with Gwen Stefani, 46. It seems like everywhere you turn, there are stories about them, and details how Miranda feels about the situation.
But now it seems the young country star is seeing other people. “She is staying busy and really happy. She is dating and enjoying single life. She is taking things slow and just going with the flow,” an insider revealed. “Her friends think she is in a great mind space,” the source added. “She can’t wait to one day have children, if it’s meant to be, and have a husband again. She has not given up on love.”
Shelton filed for divorce from his ex-wife in July, just a few months after their fourth wedding anniversary. The singer was subsequently linked to his fellow The Voice judge, Gwen Stefani, and the new couple confirmed their relationship this month.
While Miranda Lambert is dating, Stefani’s rep couldn’t help but send out another release. “Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating,” the rep said.
Lambert released her fifth studio album, Platinum, in June 2014, and brought her accompanying tour to a close in October. Miranda recently spent time with two of her beloved rescue animals, sharing a photo of the golden retrievers Wednesday.
“Blake and Gwen are on TV, in magazines, doing interviews and being photographed together everywhere. Miranda feels as if Blake is going out of his way to flaunt his new relationship which breaks her heart. She feels like he’s doing it to hurt her.” an insider said. Not only that, the pair can’t stand to be apart even when they’re not taping the show or carpooling to work after spending the night together.
Friends say the couple use FaceTime constantly, and it’s something that is driving Miranda crazy. Lambert thinks it’s ridiculous and juvenile of them to be acting like that, especially being caught on camera doing it so much.
The country star finally admitted her heartbreak over her divorce in an upcoming cover story for Cosmopolitan. She candidly stated that, “Some of (my next steps) might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, ‘Man, this sucks right now,'” while also revealing, “Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try.”
While Miranda Lambert is dating, she does admit that she’s still trying to “process everything.” It hasn’t been easy since her ex-husband is on TV every week flirting with his new girlfriend.
