Nick Gordon’s funeral message was ignored after he wanted to bid farewell to girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown, even after he begged Bobby Brown for an invite in an emotional e-mail. Gordon was notably absent from the services. But Nick’s mother said he had chosen to pay his respects by going to the beach the coupled enjoyed, according to People.

Gordon, 25, has been declared “a person of interest” by police since the death of his girlfriend. Nick is alleged to have tried to buy drugs for the troubled 22-year-old on the day she was found unresponsive in her bathtub at her home in January.

“I loved Krissi with all my heart and I am destroyed that she is gone and I need to say goodbye,” he wrote in a message to her father. He also copied in her aunt Pat Houston in the email. “I’m begging you both to please put your differences aside and allow me this chance. Krissi loved me very much and she would want me there.”

Nick Gordon’s was funeral message was also ignored by Pat Houston, who organized the services on Saturday. Prosecutors want to charge the boyfriend with involuntary manslaughter over claims he tried to buy Bobbi drugs on the day she almost drowned in the bath.

Prosecutors are also reportedly speaking to Max Lomas, who was with Gordon at the home that day and is currently facing charges of two drug-related crimes not connected to her death. In exchange for revealing exactly what happened on the day of the incident, and with Nick, police would offer Lomas immunity in the criminal investigation into the death and probation on the drugs charges.

Gordon and Lomas found Bobbi Kristina face down in her bath in her home in January. Nick has previously said the pair did drugs on the morning that she was found unresponsive.

But according to another source, police believe she had a serious problem with drugs, but he still helped her to obtain and use them.

Dionne Warwick threatened to boycott the funeral because of a bitter disagreement over plans drawn up by Pat Houston. The Brown and Houston families have strived to maintain a united front following the death last Sunday.

Nick is only one problem for both families because, in reality, they are fighting over Pat Houston’s attempts to solicit money in Bobbi Kristina’s name and what will become of Bobbi Kristina’s $20 million inheritance. Gordon allegedly married Bobbi Kristina, which could further complicate matters if there was such a marriage held by law.

According to one close source Dionne Warwick, Whitney Houston’s cousin, is the latest family member to be dragged into the fray. Warwick, who oversaw Whitney’s services, strongly disapproves of Pat Houston’s management of Krissi’s “sweet sixteen themed” funeral.

“Dionne is planning a trip and threatening to not attend … because Pat Houston is taking over even though she should be making decisions with Bobby and not doing it on her own,” a source said.

While the boyfriend tried desperately to remember Bobbi is other ways, the family bitterness will probably continue if they decide to fight over her inheritance.
