Ohio Subpoena For Ted Williams 'Homeless Golden Voice'. An Ohio subpoena awaits homeless man Ted Williams to testify in a drug-related case. The Golden Voice isn't in trouble with the law, but a court is asking him to make an appearance.

Williams encountered instant fame as a homeless man after a video showing off his radio voice hit YouTube.

L.A. County Sheriff's deputies say Williams was a passenger in the car of a woman accused of drug charges in Ohio, and is being called to testify in the case.

A hearing was apparently put off last week because Williams wasn't in Ohio. He was in New York doing media interviews. Prior to that, he was in rehab for alcoholism.

The 'Golden Voice' character was briefly detained by police in Los Angeles last week after a verbal altercation with his daughter. No charges were filed. Williams has nine children.
